I became a massage therapist
because I wanted to help people feel better physically, mentally, and
spiritually. Massage has plenty of benefits such as relaxing the whole
body, increasing circulation, decreasing tension and achiness in
muscles, helping with acute and chronic muscle and joint problems; as
well as bringing comfort during pregnancy or when dealing with certain
illnesses.
I studied at Sutherland-Chan, a leading
school of massage therapy in North America. I worked with many different
people and treated many conditions. I did outreach programs with the
elderly, people with neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis
and cerebral palsy as well as with pregnant and post-natal women.
I enjoy what I do and it very fulfilling
for me when I can help someone feel better.
