| WHAT IS NET?
Thank you for your interest in
Neuro-Emotional Technique or NET! If you have ever asked yourself why you behave
the way you do, or found yourself stuck in a particular situation, or perhaps
you are not living in the state of health you desire – NET might just be what
you have been looking for…
NET recognizes that people have
acquired many stresses over the years and many of them have not been resolved -
causing them to sometimes act in ways they otherwise would not choose to act
(ex. Irrational/ childish/ill-temperered).
Some people call this -
“pushing my/their buttons” - things that cause us to fly off the handle or lose
our cool - and we just don’t know why. It’s frustrating, irri-tating ( even
embarassing) to act that way and yet we can’t seem to control it.
WHY IS THAT?
At other times some of us feel
specific ways when we are reminded about something from our past. We recreate
the place, the sounds and even the smells AND the pains and emotions we
experienced at that time.
WHY IS
THAT?
“IF WE DON’T PROCESS AN EMOTION WHEN IT HAPPENS - IT WILL MAKE US REACT IN
THE SAME WAY IN THE FUTURE WHEN WE EXPERIENCE THE SAME EMOTION”
WHY IS THAT?
Everyone of us has very
specific values and beliefs -about EVERYTHING in our life. That is important
because it shapes who we are, BUT if those beliefs and values are the exact same
as they were when we were 5 years old - we are having some emotional and trying
times as we live in 2003
WHY IS THAT?
Most athletes at some time in
their playing days felt blocked or unable to play at a higher level even though
they had all the physical skills.
AND WHY IS THAT?
Neuro Emotional Technique has
been developed to help ordinary people deal with ordinary everyday stresses. It
is non-confrontational, not judgemental, supportive, pain free and fast.
