Woodbridge Chiropractor, Dr. Andrew Scott, Doctor of Chiropractic is a 1996 graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. He is a member of the following organizations:
Along with his membership credentials, Dr. Andrew has specialized training in chiropractic for children and has achieved fellowship status in chiropractic pediatrics through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Dr. Andrew deeply cares about the health of children and treating them in the most natural, life enhancing ways possible.
Dr. Andrew and his wife, Andrea, have three nearly grown children that they are raising drug-free. All three children were delivered naturally, checked for subluxations at birth and continue to receive chiropractic care on a regular basis. He teaches families about living a healthy, natural lifestyle; by first living it himself.
His parents are both successful Chiropractors and Naturopaths (Since 1962). While growing up, he and his brothers were raised completely free of medications – it wasn’t an option (not even Tylenol). His parents taught him that health comes from within through overall healthy living.
Through his 20 years of training, researching and serving the community, Dr. Andrew has learned about the devastating effects of traumatic births on the development and overall health of children. He has made it his mission to help as many children reach their ultimate potential by educating parents about how they can avoid birth trauma and spine trauma and thereby, eliminate one of the most devastating interruptions to health and vitality – subluxations.
Dr. Andrew believes that educated patients are healthy patients. If you have questions or concerns about your family’s health, get involved in our free workshops and ask questions.
A MESSAGE FROM DOCTOR SCOTT
Since I began practicing Chiropractic, I have been on a mission to promote natural health and wellness to people of all ages and all backgrounds so that they can enjoy their life to the fullest. When you visit us, it would not be unusual to see three (and on occasion four!) generations of a family heading off together for their adjustments. That's because, at Scott Family Chiropractic, Chiropractic is a family affair! We want all the families in our community to be healthy together. Wellness empowers families to live better and happier lives. In fact, we have created affordable family care plans that allow patients to achieve and maintain their wellness goals. We also provide the health information and encouragement needed to do so.
Far too many people in our culture today, regrettably, when they experience a health challenge, reach for a pill or some form of medication, and ignore underlying the life-style problems that might be causing them in the first place. Doctors often are too busy to educate their patients about these life-style issues and as a result rely on prescriptions to alleviate symptoms. This approach ignores the natural healing abilities our bodies were equipped with. I feel our facility is quite unique because of the philosophy that we share with each patient; focusing on the entire person and their lifestyle choices as well.
So many ailments and health challenges slow us down or even keep us from achieving our goals altogether, but it doesn't have to be that way. We take a full-body, comprehensive approach that will help support you with all of your health and wellness issues and needs. Over the years we've observed patients healing themselves of headaches, numbness, chronic back pain, blood pressure challenges, allergies, infections, digestion issues, ailments like Menieres disease and vertigo, through whole body wellness care. And the best part is, not only do we work with people who have health challenges, but we also help the healthy take their wellness, and quality of life, to the next level. We were meant to feel good and heal well. Let us show you how.
