WHAT TO EXPECT AT SFC NORTH

When people are exploring a new doctor for the first time, it is normal to have some concerns and uncertainty. Our goal  for every patient is to make their experience with us a wonderful one! 

 

PRIOR TO YOUR FIRST VISIT WITH SFC 

Prior to your visit, one of our team members will send you (by email) our New Patient Intake forms, which can be filled out  and submitted to us online. We recommend having this done before your appointment because it will allow us to prepare  for your first visit and will shorten the amount of time you spend in the clinic. We encourage you to take your time when  filling out the New Patient Intake forms, as it gives us a great deal of information about your health and your lifestyle  habits. A thorough health history will help your doctor and your examination specialists take better care of you. If you are  unable to complete and submit your New Patient Intake form online or if you require assistance with completing your  forms, please express that to one of our chiropractic assistants when booking your appointment. You will be asked to  come in 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time to fill out these forms in the clinic.

 

YOUR FIRST VISIT WITH SFC

When you enter the clinic, you will be greeted by one of our friendly chiropractic assistants who will welcome you into our  home-like atmosphere. You can rest assured that your health and safety will be our top priority. Our clinic follows the  recommended health and safety guidelines to ensure that every patient who comes into our clinic feels safe and comfortable.

 
Having previously reviewed your New Patient Intake forms, one of our exam specialists will then welcome you into one of  our examination rooms. They will begin the examination with a review of your health history, to assess what past traumas  and life stresses may be contributing to your current health concerns. Dr. Scott and your examination specialist will  perform a complete and comprehensive chiropractic wellness examination, following your consultation, where we will  assess your posture, range of motion, equilibrium, and other neurological and orthopedic physical examinations that are  relevant. Sometimes, x-rays are necessary to allow us to clearly determine a proper corrective care recommendation. If you have any questions or concerns, Dr. Scott or one of our team members will be happy to answer them.

 
If you require any statements for insurance purposes, these can be provided. Please request them at the front desk.

 

 

YOUR SECOND VISIT WITH SFC

 
After your examination is completed, we will schedule a time to review your exam results. This is the most important visit  you will ever have in the clinic. At this time, Dr. Scott will be able to make a recommendation of how to best help you going  forward. This recommendation will be made based on your examination results, your health concerns, and your individual  health goals. Dr. Scott will take the time to make sure that you have a complete understanding of not only your condition,  but also what needs to be done to correct your condition. If you have any additional questions for Dr. Scott or our team,  you are welcome to ask them at any time.

 

ALL OTHER APPOINTMENTS WITH SFC

This way you have the tools to work  towards achieving maximum results for your spinal health and wellness.

 
We encourage all visitors and patients to be on time. If you are unable to attend an appointment, please call or email  ahead of time to cancel or reschedule. You will be happy to know that we take pride in keeping appointments on time and without stress. If you require statements for insurance or tax purposes, these can be provided by our front desk. Requests  for doctor's notes can be made to one of our examination specialists.
